The UK Prime Minister is expected to urge supporting countries to supply Ukraine with more long-range missiles to target Moscow's positions during discussions in the UK capital on this Friday.

The prime minister will host President Zelensky alongside the so-called "alliance of supportive nations", consisting of more than 20 of Ukraine's allies who have agreed to provide the Ukrainian government defense assurances once fighting stops is arranged.

Ukraine's president has been urging for weeks for additional long-range weapons from allied countries, an action that Russia has stated would worsen the hostilities.
